SATIN TAUPE (FROST)

Satin Taupe is absolutely gorgeous and because it has purple undertones, it really makes green eyes stand out!

SATELLITE DREAMS (VELUXE PEARL)

Satellite Dreams is a midtone purple with bluish purple shimmer. This shadow looks stunning on green eyes! I love to wear it with my next recommendation...

NOCTURNELLE (FROST)

Nocturnelle is a "pinked up chrome purple" according to MAC. I would call it a deep red based purple. This is a must have and pairs beautifully with Satin Taupe and Satellite Dreams.

BRONZE (FROST)

Like I've said before, MAC's Bronze is the most perfect true bronze shade EVER made. The warmth in this color makes it extremely flattering on green eyes.

SUMPTUOUS OLIVE (VELUXE PEARL)

I absolutely LOVE this color for green eyes! When applied it looks like a bronzy olive green, and it is a fun shadow to mix in with neutral looks.

HUMID (FROST)

No surprise here... I recommend Humid to everyone, but especially if you have green eyes. This is one of the best MAC eyeshadows hands down. Some say people with green eyes shouldn't wear green shadows... Rules are made to be broken, and Humid is the perfect example!

CLUB (SATIN)

For a full review on Club, click here
The reddish brown base in club works wonders on green eyes, and don't even get me started on the teal duochrome!!

SABLE (FROST)

Sable is a bronzy, plummy, brown. It is gorgeous all over the lid, and can be worn by itself.

EMBARK (MATTE)

Embark is a matte red based brown that looks great with green eyes!

SKETCH (SATIN)

Sketch is a very popular wine/burgundy color that is amazing as a crease color!

  2. I found your blog as I was browsing eyeshadows for green eyes. I'm sucker for getting eye shadows that are recommended for my eye colour and I love MAC! These recommendations were excellent! I have a few of the recommendations already but Satellite dreams, Sumptuous olive and Nocturnelle sounds interesting as well as Embark! Next on my list, might just link this post to my phone, so I can check it out at MAC while shopping! :D

  3. OMG! I went a bit overboard and got all your recommendations + vanilla! I just realised I now have all the eyeshadows from this article, which should be perfect for my green peepers!:) I'm wearing Sumptuous olive today and I must say you were right it is gorgeous! I paired it up with a bit more unusual combination of Nocturnelle and Naked lunch and Vanilla. Any other recommendations for these combos and the other ones above?

In my country the MAC eyeshadows are quite expensive but hey I now have my single palette full (well need to get the divider out to fit them all in) of all the lovelies...:D

    1. There are so many combinations you can make with the eyeshadows in this list! :) I'm so glad to hear you got Vanilla as well! It's definitely my favorite highlight from MAC. Aside from Embark, do you have a matte brown -- preferably a mid-tone brown like Wedge or Cork? If so, the possibilities are endless! Here are a couple of my favorite combos using just the shadows above:

      1. Satin Taupe on the lid and crease, Nocturnelle on the outer v
      2. Bronze on the lid, Club in the crease
      3. Sable on the lid, Sketch in the crease
      4. Satellite Dreams on the lid, Nocturnelle in the crease
      5. Club on the lid, Sumptuous Olive in the crease (smokey eye)
      6. Sumptuous Olive on the lid, Humid in crease

      Hope that helps :)
