My other laptop died and recently I was fortunate enough to be gifted a chromebook as an early Christmas present, so here I am! I'm back with quite a lengthy post -- I hope you don't mind.<br /><br />Perfume collection posts are some of my favorites to read so I decided to do mine. To some I have too many perfumes and to others I have a tiny collection. Overall I'm extremely pleased with what I have and don't plan on adding anymore to my miniature hoard<br /><span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: large;"><b>EDP = Eau de Parfum&nbsp;</b></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: large;"><b><br /></b></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: large;"><b>EDT = Eau de Toilette&nbsp;</b></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: large;"><b><br /></b></span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="background-color: white; color: #252525; font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; line-height: 22.3999996185303px;">In lay mans terms, EDP's are stronger and last longer than EDT which have a higher alcohol content. </span><span style="background-color: white; color: #252525; font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; line-height: 22.3999996185303px;">All EDT's are not created equal. Some fade away within an hour while others can rival a parfum in longevity. In general I prefer Eau de Parfums, but it's not a deal breaker for me if a beautiful fragrance is only available as an EDT.</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">*The notes and accords listed below are from&nbsp;<a href="http://www.fragrantica.com/" target="_blank">Fragrantica</a>, which is one of my favorite fragrance websites! I will definitely repurchase when I finish this bottle.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-D5eWJadrFxg/VJd0vNZh6gI/AAAAAAAACSI/bZ5CNn36e40/s1600/IMG_0400%2B-%2BEdited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-D5eWJadrFxg/VJd0vNZh6gI/AAAAAAAACSI/bZ5CNn36e40/s1600/IMG_0400%2B-%2BEdited.JPG" height="320" width="226" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>GUCCI GUILTY (EDT) -- </b>floral, soft spicy, sweet, patchouli, fruity, amber</div><br /><div style="text-align: center;">Notes -- <i>Lilac, Pink Pepper, Peach, Patchouli, Amber, Mandarin Orange, Geranium</i></div><div style="text-align: center;"><i><br /></i></div><div style="text-align: center;">Guilty is a very sexy perfume. Lucky for me I have an&nbsp;<span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;">Ulta across the street from both of them so here's what I do... I go to TJ Maxx and Ross and see what they have, see what sparks my eye, or check out something that I've heard about. Then I haul ass over to Ulta and smell their testers. Finally I go back to make my purchases knowing that I like what I'm buying. I pretty much never buy cold based on others recommendations. To me that's crazy! Lastly I buy really high end perfume like Chanel from Ulta using my 20% off coupons. I'm a VIP member (which basically means you spend too much damn money there) and one of the perks is the coupons can be used on fragrance (sometimes).</span><br /><span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;"><br /></span><span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;"><br /></span><span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;"><br /></span><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;"><b><u>MY TOP 6</u></b></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;">Chanel Chance eau Tendre</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;">Chanel Chance eau Fraiche</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;">Prada Candy</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;">Versace Bright Crystal</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;">Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;">Gucci Guilty</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;"><br /></span></div><span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;"><br /></span><span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;"><br /></span><span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;">So I guess that's it for my perfume collection. I know it has been almost a month since my last post! I thought I would give you a little update before getting into my review. As some of you may know, I have a one year old son. What you may not know about is my struggle over the past year to shed the weight I gained during my pregnancy. I put on a staggering 70 pounds total!! Of that 70 I have lost about 53 pounds. This past month I have gotten very serious about changing my lifestyle and going to the gym religiously. I have been counting calories and weighing all my food on a digital scale and I'm proud to say that in the last three weeks I have lost 13 pounds! Long story short, I haven't had the time to blog because my workouts and diet have been my number one priority. If you are struggling with your weight, I highly suggest logging everything you eat into an online calorie counter like <a href="http://www.myfitnesspal.com/" target="_blank">My Fitness Pal</a>!<br /><br />Anywho, on to the review!!<br /><br /><br /><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-qomz-e0juCs/Umfoc-9OHuI/AAAAAAAACL4/6w3-Zedx0oI/s1600/Makeup+Geek+eyeshadows.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-qomz-e0juCs/Umfoc-9OHuI/AAAAAAAACL4/6w3-Zedx0oI/s400/Makeup+Geek+eyeshadows.JPG" width="382" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">(top to bottom clockwise) Homecoming, Hipster, Moondust</td></tr></tbody></table><br /><br /><br /><br /><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-oIhUaoyjOxM/Umfocai2u8I/AAAAAAAACMA/W9pbSBDVkSo/s1600/Makeup+Geek+Swatches.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-oIhUaoyjOxM/Umfocai2u8I/AAAAAAAACMA/W9pbSBDVkSo/s400/Makeup+Geek+Swatches.JPG" width="370" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">(l-r) Hipster, Homecoming, Moondust</td></tr></tbody></table><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">There is A LOT of hype surrounding MUG eyeshadows, especially on YouTube. I think you all know by now that I am 100% honest in my reviews, the good, the bad, the ugly... and unfortunately I don't think they live up to the hype. MUG shadows (at least the few that I have) are perfect examples of those that swatch better than they appear on the eye. They&nbsp;seem very pigmented especially in the swatch, but when applied or blended they appear muddy, much like drugstore eyeshadows. Like many super soft eyeshadows, I find these to be quite powdery. Despite how powdery they are, there isn't as much fall out as I had originally expected.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><strong>Hipster</strong>&nbsp;is a medium golden brown with a slight sheen. Decent payoff, but very dupable. Similar to MAC Patina.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><strong>Homecoming</strong> is a metallic warm brown. I want to love this eyeshadow, but unfortunately it becomes very muddy when blended. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><strong>Moondust</strong> is a warm silver with golden shimmer. I love the color of Moondust but it just doesn't translate to the eye.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I have had these shadows for at least two weeks and I wanted to give them a chance to grow on me, but unfortunately they didn't. Much like Sigma brushes, MUG eyeshadows are said to be MAC dupes. The reality is they are NOT. They are good quality for the price ($5.99) but they are not high end eyeshadows. This is my opinion based on the three that I own. Perhaps there are others that are better in quality.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-MpV8Adsf1qs/Umfob4UZbAI/AAAAAAAACLw/PdYqWeM29Ek/s1600/Makeup+Geek+Homecoming%252C+Moondust%252C+Hipster.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="273" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-MpV8Adsf1qs/Umfob4UZbAI/AAAAAAAACLw/PdYqWeM29Ek/s320/Makeup+Geek+Homecoming%252C+Moondust%252C+Hipster.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">All Makeup Geek cosmetics are available <a href="http://www.makeupgeek.com/store/eye-products/eyeshadows/makeup-geek-eyeshadows.html" target="_blank">HERE.</a> They ship worldwide.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Have you tried Makeup Geek eyeshadows?</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">&nbsp;</div><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;">&nbsp;</td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">&nbsp;</td></tr></tbody></table>Sarah Caronhttps://plus.google.com/113459519861985401593noreply@blogger.com10tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8470850440598347060.post-15101736461391238932013-09-27T05:37:00.003-07:002013-09-27T05:37:47.858-07:00MY FIRST SWAP!! <div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Opening this&nbsp;box today was one of the most exciting moments of my adult life. Today I wanted to do a quick post about my favorite MAC lipsticks for Fall! <br /><br /><br />Typically I associate Fall with berry, red, or vampy lips. Because I don't have the fullest lips in the world I try to stick to a lighter&nbsp;lipsticks in that&nbsp;color palette. The darker the lipstick, the smaller your lips appear! <br /><br /><br /><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-SjdWoEVQJDI/Uji7chIiH_I/AAAAAAAACIA/7C5j1UunXiE/s1600/Best+Lipsticks+MAC+Autumn+Fall.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-SjdWoEVQJDI/Uji7chIiH_I/AAAAAAAACIA/7C5j1UunXiE/s640/Best+Lipsticks+MAC+Autumn+Fall.JPG" width="624" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">(l-r) Syrup, Plumful, Craving, Rebel, Viva Glam I</td></tr></tbody></table><br /><br /><strong>Syrup (Lustre) --</strong> Syrup is definitely a "my lips but better" lipstick with a plummy twist. Because it is relatively sheer, I find this one to be the easiest to wear and most flattering on a variety of different skin tones. Syrup has a permanent home in my handbag and I consider it a must have item, especially for Fall!<br /><br /><strong>Plumful (Lustre) --</strong> Plumful is Syrup's racier,&nbsp;sexier older sister. They are similar in color but Plumful is just slightly darker and more purple/plum. I love to wear this with cool toned eye looks and every time I wear this lippy I get a compliment. That has to mean something, right?!<br /><br /><strong>Craving (Amplified) --</strong> Craving is&nbsp;a gorgeous&nbsp;mid tone pinky plum with outstanding pigmentation and staying power. Because of it's Amplified finish, Craving isn't a throw it on and go kind of lipstick. You definitely need a mirror and perhaps a brush, but totally worth it! <br /><br /><strong>Rebel (Satin) --&nbsp;</strong>One of the newest additions to my collection and I am in love. Rebel is described as a berry red by MAC. This lipstick can be swiped on for full opacity, or patted on the lips for more&nbsp;of a stained effect. Rebel is bright yet dark at the same time... quite an interesting color if you ask me! I think&nbsp;this is one of those&nbsp;lipsticks that will look good&nbsp;on just about anyone, regardless of how fair or deep their skin tone is. <br /><br /><a href="/2013/09/mac-viva-glam-i-lipstick-review-and.html" target="_blank"><strong>Viva Glam I (Matte) --</strong></a> I already have a full review up on Viva Glam I so please check that out for lip swatches, etc. VGI is a burgundy red that I think is well suited for Fall. Because it is slightly deeper and richer than your typical red it borders on vampy while still remaining wearable.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Have you tried any of my favorites? What are your favorite lipsticks for Fall?<br /><br /><br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">&nbsp;</div>Sarah Caronhttps://plus.google.com/113459519861985401593noreply@blogger.com46tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8470850440598347060.post-87090938502802758372013-09-15T07:20:00.000-07:002013-09-15T09:53:02.982-07:00NARS Albatross Highlighting Blush -- Review, Pictures, Swatches<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-K_V5Nv6FFNo/UjW7bLFMpAI/AAAAAAAACHU/romYoHlwydY/s1600/IMG_2713.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-K_V5Nv6FFNo/UjW7bLFMpAI/AAAAAAAACHU/romYoHlwydY/s400/IMG_2713.JPG" width="355" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I&nbsp;decided to treat&nbsp;myself to a high end highlighter and went to Sephora this past weekend to purchase Dior Amber Diamond. I had a $20 store credit so I figured it would soften the blow of the hefty price tag. Much to my dismay, they were sold out. Rather than sulking, I quickly set my sights on NARS Albatross ($29)&nbsp;and we've been besties ever since. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Albatross is not your mother's highlighter. This baby packs a punch! It has a white base color&nbsp;with golden sheen. I am quite&nbsp;fair with a strong yellow undertone&nbsp;and I think it works nicely on my complexion. As long as Albatross is used over a blush I don't think the white base will appear ashy on deeper skin tones. It lasts about 7 hours before fading.&nbsp;I have been applying it with a&nbsp;MAC 188 stippling brush&nbsp;to the tops of my cheek bones. It is quite shimmery so I have to be careful not to over apply. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">The highlighting blush is housed in typical NARS packaging -- a rubberized&nbsp;compact. Even though it does get&nbsp;a&nbsp;little grubby with fingerprints and the like, I happen to love NARS packaging. It looks sleek and the rubber helps protect the product if you happen to drop it. At least that's what I tell myself! :)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Overall I am very pleased with my purchase! I still plan on getting Amber Diamond, but there's no rush now. Unfortunately, Albatross has fueled my NARS obsession and now I'm looking to purchase Deep Throat, Madly,&nbsp;and Sin. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-z2_-G09ZICs/UjW7a_g1UzI/AAAAAAAACHc/EABxZLsPmm8/s1600/IMG_2715.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="528" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-z2_-G09ZICs/UjW7a_g1UzI/AAAAAAAACHc/EABxZLsPmm8/s640/IMG_2715.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-d4RmFnAfpZE/UjW7aYej1wI/AAAAAAAACHI/WarSEBIsrho/s1600/IMG_2716.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="498" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-d4RmFnAfpZE/UjW7aYej1wI/AAAAAAAACHI/WarSEBIsrho/s640/IMG_2716.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ZkiWpJkPk1c/UjW7bvyXzMI/AAAAAAAACHQ/IrfzYxqlLio/s1600/IMG_2718.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ZkiWpJkPk1c/UjW7bvyXzMI/AAAAAAAACHQ/IrfzYxqlLio/s640/IMG_2718.JPG" width="264" /></a></div><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Have you tried Albatross? It's been quite a while since I've posted but I'm going to try to get back into the&nbsp;swing of things&nbsp;with this beaut -- MAC Viva Glam I!<br /><br />Currently MAC is repromoting VGI with the original spokeswoman... the one, the only, Ru Paul!!! I've been meaning to review it for quite some time but after seeing the promotional images I decided to get on it!<br /><br />Viva Glam I is a matte burgundy red. It has the slightest amount of brown which makes it a bit more vampy, yet wearable at the same time.&nbsp;I find the formula very creamy for a matte, but I have no issues with bleeding or feathering. The wear time is superb at around 6 hours without eating. I typically wear it without a lip liner, but MAC Brick pairs beautifully with VGI, while&nbsp;MAC Burgundy Lip Pencil will create a more vampy look.<br /><br />100% of the purchase price of&nbsp;all Viva Glam lip products go to the MAC Aids Fund!<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-NphLKiEIA64/UjCGaNOF2RI/AAAAAAAACGY/zJFVCGjrReQ/s1600/MAC+Viva+Glam+I+vs+Ruby+Woo.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-NphLKiEIA64/UjCGaNOF2RI/AAAAAAAACGY/zJFVCGjrReQ/s640/MAC+Viva+Glam+I+vs+Ruby+Woo.JPG" width="363" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">(l-r) Viva Glam I, Ruby Woo</td></tr></tbody></table><br /><br /><br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-4TyA2y1w2uo/UjCGNDSw3SI/AAAAAAAACGQ/0Fd-91dSqEM/s1600/Viva+Glam+I.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="233" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-4TyA2y1w2uo/UjCGNDSw3SI/AAAAAAAACGQ/0Fd-91dSqEM/s400/Viva+Glam+I.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Have you tried Viva Glam I or any of the other Viva Glam products? <br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Sarah Caronhttps://plus.google.com/113459519861985401593noreply@blogger.com25tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8470850440598347060.post-79390381836296523922013-08-22T13:54:00.001-07:002013-08-22T19:38:46.297-07:00A Guide to MAC Eye Brushes<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-uIXfugGKx3U/UhZi6u3dg0I/AAAAAAAACFw/AOUggJdTchg/s1600/IMG_2672.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="361" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-uIXfugGKx3U/UhZi6u3dg0I/AAAAAAAACFw/AOUggJdTchg/s400/IMG_2672.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br /><br /><br />Hello my dears!! I thought I would put together a guide to MAC's eye brushes after my recent acquisition of the 226 and the 214. I wanted to write this because there is a lot of hype around MAC brushes, and while&nbsp;many of them are absolutely amazing brushes, quite a few I could do without. I'd like to help you ladies save some money where you can and point you in the direction of their stand out brushes! I wouldn't really call these little snippets "full reviews", more like my overall opinion on each brush. Hope this helps!!<br /><br /><br />* denotes brushes that I recommend and would repurchase<br />**denotes MUST HAVE brushes... in my opinion, of course!<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-swjW75_Ero8/UhYckGmRQqI/AAAAAAAACDQ/Wp23MgKbBo0/s1600/MAC+208.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-swjW75_Ero8/UhYckGmRQqI/AAAAAAAACDQ/Wp23MgKbBo0/s320/MAC+208.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><strong>MAC 208 -- Angled Brow Brush ($20)*</strong><br /><strong></strong><br />Synthetic/natural hair blend. I really like this brush and use it daily. It is very dense and small. I think it works best with powder products, but you can use it with gel/cream liners. I typically use it on my brows or when applying eyeshadow to the lash lines.<br /><strong></strong><br /><br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-XF6Q6_AQeS8/UhZd90w2BdI/AAAAAAAACDw/dp-QEij71SE/s1600/MAC+210.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-XF6Q6_AQeS8/UhZd90w2BdI/AAAAAAAACDw/dp-QEij71SE/s320/MAC+210.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><strong>MAC 210 -- Precise Eye Liner Brush ($20)*</strong><br /><br />Synthetic. This is a super fine liner brush that is perfect for applying gel liner. I really love this brush, but you can find cheaper alternatives at the art store if you are on a budget. If you purchase the 210, make sure to keep the clear plastic bristle protector that comes with it! I've had mine for over a year and it is still in perfect condition.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/--2684SgI100/UhZd-F5tgVI/AAAAAAAACD0/1u4-lZzIiWg/s1600/MAC+212.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/--2684SgI100/UhZd-F5tgVI/AAAAAAAACD0/1u4-lZzIiWg/s320/MAC+212.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><strong>MAC 212 -- Flat Definer Brush ($24)</strong><br /><br />Synthetic. Also called a push liner brush; I use the 212&nbsp;to apply eyeshadow to the lash lines. &nbsp;I have a love/hate relationship with this brush. The bristles are very soft, which I love, but it is very wide which makes it awkward when you try to follow the natural curve of your eye. I probably wouldn't repurchase.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-CA2LLsEPTF0/UhZd8gJDVCI/AAAAAAAACDk/xp5qlGxMdSA/s1600/MAC+213.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-CA2LLsEPTF0/UhZd8gJDVCI/AAAAAAAACDk/xp5qlGxMdSA/s320/MAC+213.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><strong>MAC 213 -- Fluff Brush ($25)</strong><br /><br />Natural hair. I have had this baby for over ten years and it was my first MAC brush. The 213 is a very basic eyeshadow brush that I don't reach for often. If someone were just starting out and wanted a brush to apply shadow to the lid softly, then this would be a great choice. I'm glad that I have it, but I wouldn't consider this a must have.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JRwHdnVTXMQ/UhZd_M-KUoI/AAAAAAAACD8/EQ-AF3_OAPQ/s1600/MAC+214.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JRwHdnVTXMQ/UhZd_M-KUoI/AAAAAAAACD8/EQ-AF3_OAPQ/s320/MAC+214.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><strong>MAC 214 -- Short Shader Brush ($25)</strong><br /><br />Natural hair. I recently purchased this at the CCO and I think it is a&nbsp;decent brush.&nbsp;Typically this brush would be used for smudging or applying eyeshadow&nbsp;along the lash lines. The bristles aren't as soft as I like and Revlon does a better version of this brush for a third of the price. <br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-_R8b-N1vhaQ/UhZeBy0NU_I/AAAAAAAACEQ/qjE_9JYEsug/s1600/MAC+217.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-_R8b-N1vhaQ/UhZeBy0NU_I/AAAAAAAACEQ/qjE_9JYEsug/s320/MAC+217.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><strong>MAC 217 -- Blending Brush ($24)**</strong><br /><br />White goat hair. I absolutely love this brush and cannot recommend it enough! Many companies try to duplicate its majesty, but none compare to the 217.&nbsp;This brush can apply color softly and blend like no other.&nbsp;MUST HAVE.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-IPxP0UPjNmc/UhZeBwB_AlI/AAAAAAAACEI/9xXv-kL-0x8/s1600/MAC+219.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-IPxP0UPjNmc/UhZeBwB_AlI/AAAAAAAACEI/9xXv-kL-0x8/s320/MAC+219.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><strong>MAC 219 -- Pencil Brush ($25)**</strong><br /><br />White goat hair. There a plenty of pencil brushes in the world but few are as soft or as pointed as the MAC 219. You can use this to apply/blend shadow on the lash lines or do precise crease work. Definitely a brush that I recommend and use on a daily basis.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-kYD7NHulJpI/UhZeCG5Xx5I/AAAAAAAACEU/Br-QRVpQtOA/s1600/MAC+224.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-kYD7NHulJpI/UhZeCG5Xx5I/AAAAAAAACEU/Br-QRVpQtOA/s320/MAC+224.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><strong>MAC 224 -- Tapered Blending Brush ($30)*</strong><br /><br />Goat hair. The 224 is a brush that&nbsp;I use daily but not one without its faults. It sheds more than I'd like, is somewhat scratchy and I wish it were more densely packed. I use this to apply my transition shade or for&nbsp;overall blending. This brush may be a bit too big for ladies with small eyes. I have tried to find a better alternative but have yet to find a replacement.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-u63MHQ7cL1s/UhZeFqAQb1I/AAAAAAAACEo/DpaavxQTxU0/s1600/MAC+225.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-u63MHQ7cL1s/UhZeFqAQb1I/AAAAAAAACEo/DpaavxQTxU0/s320/MAC+225.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><strong>MAC 225 -- Large Tapered Blending Brush ($36)* </strong><br /><strong>[discontinued]</strong><br /><br />Pony hair. The 225 is a larger, softer version of the 224.&nbsp;I use it&nbsp;for overall blending and it can be used on the face as well. While it is discontinued, you may still be able to find this at a CCO.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Vgw55K90_bw/UhZeFslpcFI/AAAAAAAACEs/1mqAt_oZrFk/s1600/MAC+226.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Vgw55K90_bw/UhZeFslpcFI/AAAAAAAACEs/1mqAt_oZrFk/s320/MAC+226.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><strong>MAC 226 -- Small Tapered Blending Brush ($25) </strong><br /><strong>[limited edition]</strong><br /><br />Goat hair. The 226 brush came out with a few different collections and I recently found mine at the CCO. This brush is used for defined crease work. Sigma (E45)&nbsp;does one that is somewhat similar as does Louise Young (LY38). I find the 226 precise but slightly scratchy.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-BCrsiYBrZfA/UhZeFddtIbI/AAAAAAAACEk/XwHPxPGSRWE/s1600/MAC+227.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-BCrsiYBrZfA/UhZeFddtIbI/AAAAAAAACEk/XwHPxPGSRWE/s320/MAC+227.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><strong>MAC 227 -- Large Fluff Brush ($30)</strong><br /><br />Goat hair. This brush is HUGE. Honestly the only thing the 227 is good for is applying a&nbsp;wash of color and there is no reason to spend $30 on a brush for that purpose alone. EcoTools makes a great dupe for this brush that is much, much softer.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ffgO32G7njc/UhZeIuTC8DI/AAAAAAAACE4/NAcm1FxzvDk/s1600/MAC+239.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ffgO32G7njc/UhZeIuTC8DI/AAAAAAAACE4/NAcm1FxzvDk/s320/MAC+239.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><strong>MAC 239 --&nbsp;Eye Shader Brush ($25)**</strong><br /><br />White goat hair. The 239 is used to pack on color. Although that is its only purpose, I consider this brush a must have! It has the perfect width, density, and its bristles grab and deposit shadows perfectly. Because it is natural hair&nbsp;the 239&nbsp;works best with powder products. <br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-R3TjdlohCUY/UhZeJRWFxtI/AAAAAAAACFE/-JeRhU1il2o/s1600/MAC+244.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-R3TjdlohCUY/UhZeJRWFxtI/AAAAAAAACFE/-JeRhU1il2o/s320/MAC+244.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><strong>MAC 242 -- Shader Brush ($25)</strong><br /><br />Synthetic. The 242&nbsp;is similar to the 239 in that it is used to pack on color but it is slightly more versatile. You can use it with powder, cream or liquid products. While I like the 242, I much prefer the 239. <br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-aFsUl4b3mX8/UhZeIyM6-8I/AAAAAAAACE8/VOywpzqAIEI/s1600/MAC+266.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-aFsUl4b3mX8/UhZeIyM6-8I/AAAAAAAACE8/VOywpzqAIEI/s320/MAC+266.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><strong>MAC 266 -- Small Angled Brush ($20)*</strong><br />Natural hair. This brush is similar to the 208 but the bristles are slightly longer and it is thinner. Like the 208, the 266 can be used&nbsp;on the&nbsp;brows or to apply liner/shadows to the lash lines.&nbsp;Overall I think it is a great brush and would definitely recommend.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><strong><u><span style="font-size: large;">SIZE COMPARISON PHOTOS</span></u></strong></div><br /><br /><br /><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-FZnB3AgivKQ/UhZeY-p8hOI/AAAAAAAACFc/dFha1DS1pp0/s1600/MAC+227+VS+239.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-FZnB3AgivKQ/UhZeY-p8hOI/AAAAAAAACFc/dFha1DS1pp0/s320/MAC+227+VS+239.JPG" width="320" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">(l-r) 227, 239</td></tr></tbody></table><br /><br /><br /><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-NYH8Vm177h8/UhZeY3n1NEI/AAAAAAAACFY/4o3oGdHlWyQ/s1600/MAC+212+214+208+266.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-NYH8Vm177h8/UhZeY3n1NEI/AAAAAAAACFY/4o3oGdHlWyQ/s320/MAC+212+214+208+266.JPG" width="320" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">(l-r) 212, 214, 266, 208</td></tr></tbody></table><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">&nbsp;</div><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ty9Xdgw8iOk/UhZeYxvAR8I/AAAAAAAACFg/ujox1_iXM-Q/s1600/MAC+225+VS+224+VS+217+VS+226.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ty9Xdgw8iOk/UhZeYxvAR8I/AAAAAAAACFg/ujox1_iXM-Q/s320/MAC+225+VS+224+VS+217+VS+226.JPG" width="240" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">(t-b) 225, 224, 217, 226</td></tr></tbody></table><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">&nbsp;</div><br /><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-rOx86U-OIUc/UhZealdV7CI/AAAAAAAACFk/ihZ2l3EKbT0/s1600/MAC+239+VS+242.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-rOx86U-OIUc/UhZealdV7CI/AAAAAAAACFk/ihZ2l3EKbT0/s320/MAC+239+VS+242.JPG" width="320" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">(l-r) 239, 242</td></tr></tbody></table><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Do you have any MAC brushes? Yesterday I drove my mom to the airport in Charlotte, and decided that this&nbsp;was finally my opportunity! I can't say it's the best CCO I've ever been to, but I found some great items. <br /><br />CCO stands for Cosmetic Company Outlet/Store, and in this magical little&nbsp;place you can find overflow cosmetic items from brands owned by Estee Lauder -- which includes MAC, Clinique, and Bobbi Brown! At a 30% discount!!!<br /><br />Because you can't be sure how long the&nbsp;makeup have been there I like to&nbsp;purchase&nbsp;items that&nbsp;don't go bad... like brushes, eyeshadows, blushes, etc.<br /><br /><br /><br /><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-YTICQQsIEbI/UhIfEQVHpxI/AAAAAAAACCw/Uh5oHa4wogQ/s1600/IMG_2669.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="452" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-YTICQQsIEbI/UhIfEQVHpxI/AAAAAAAACCw/Uh5oHa4wogQ/s640/IMG_2669.JPG" width="640" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Brushes (l-r) MAC 116, 129, 226, 214</td></tr></tbody></table><br /><br />All but one of the brushes I purchased are part of the permanent line. I'm not sure why, but I also received an additional 10% off. The 226 was limited edition and is not currently available at counters/stores. I can't believe I found one!!!<br /><br /><br />I have been wanting all of these brushes for quite some time and I never imagined I would find them all at the CCO! There was a 188 there that I really wish I would have bought... I have to pick mom up on Wednesday, so we'll see what happens! :)<br /><br /><strong></strong><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><strong>MAC 214 -- $15.75&nbsp; (Reg $25)</strong></div><div style="text-align: center;"><strong></strong>&nbsp;</div><div style="text-align: center;"><strong>MAC 226 -- $17.77&nbsp;&nbsp;(Reg $27)</strong> </div><div style="text-align: center;">&nbsp;</div><div style="text-align: center;"><strong>MAC 116 -- $22.85&nbsp; (Reg $35)&nbsp;</strong></div><div style="text-align: center;"><strong></strong>&nbsp;</div><div style="text-align: center;"><strong>MAC 129&nbsp;-- $22.85&nbsp; (Reg $35)</strong></div><div style="text-align: center;"><strong></strong>&nbsp;</div><div style="text-align: center;"><strong>Bobbi Brown Shimmer Wash Eyeshadow in Stone -- $13.95&nbsp; (Reg $21)</strong></div><div style="text-align: center;"><strong></strong>&nbsp;</div><div style="text-align: center;"><strong></strong>&nbsp;</div><div style="text-align: center;">&nbsp;</div><div style="text-align: center;"><strong>TOTAL SPENT (before taxes) -- $91.57</strong></div><div style="text-align: center;"><strong></strong>&nbsp;</div><div style="text-align: center;"><strong>TOTAL SAVED -- $52!!!!</strong></div><div style="text-align: center;"><strong></strong>&nbsp;</div><div align="left" style="text-align: center;"><strong></strong>&nbsp;</div><div style="text-align: center;"><strong></strong>&nbsp;</div><div style="text-align: center;"></div><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-JlcjtzBN7Yw/UhIjZr9LfHI/AAAAAAAACC8/YOiO6EgyGgk/s1600/IMG_2668.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-JlcjtzBN7Yw/UhIjZr9LfHI/AAAAAAAACC8/YOiO6EgyGgk/s640/IMG_2668.JPG" width="291" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Bobbi Brown Shimmer Wash Eyeshadow in Stone</td></tr></tbody></table><div style="text-align: center;">&nbsp;</div><div style="text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div style="text-align: left;">Sorry about the picture&nbsp;quality... It is an ashy taupe, but&nbsp;has the tiniest bit of warmth to it once applied. You need the tiniest amount! The product does take a little while to set, so you have plenty of play time. After applying, you can brush a spoolie through your brows to make it look more natural.</div><div style="text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div style="text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div style="text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gnlvtE-VFsA/Ugzo08mwSoI/AAAAAAAACCU/JBUngioQrvg/s1600/IMG_2655.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gnlvtE-VFsA/Ugzo08mwSoI/AAAAAAAACCU/JBUngioQrvg/s400/IMG_2655.JPG" width="376" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">&nbsp;</div>That little dot is more than enough for both brows! It highlights every pore and imperfection. I have never really liked blushes that had shimmer in them so I'm not quite sure why I thought I'd like&nbsp;this one. I can understand why many people love this blush, but it is definitely not for me. </div><div align="center"><strong></strong>&nbsp;</div><div align="center"><br /><strong>NARS Laguna - A medium toned golden bronze with shimmer. </strong>I really enjoy the color of this bronzer, but again with the shimmer! I read quite a few reviews online that&nbsp;stated the shimmer was undetectable when applied to the face. Uhhhh... WRONG! That's not to say I don't like the Elf Duo. The bronzer is much darker than the NARS version and more matte. It also has a ruddiness to it that I quite like. Bronzers that have a little red to them can be more natural looking on fair skin than ones with golden tones. It reminded me of a darker version of MAC's Harmony. Because it is quite pigmented, I recommend using a light hand! The Elf blush is good, but nothing to write home about. It is&nbsp;a light pinky peach with shimmer. I don't know what's gotten into me, but I feel like I should change my blog name to Lipstick Addicts Anonymous! :)<br /><br /><br />This post has been requested a couple times by my readers but I haven't written it until today for a few reasons. First, I think it is hard to suggest 10 universal colors -- so I geared this post for fair/light skin. Most of these lipsticks would look great on a variety of skin tones though! Secondly, I am very particular when it comes to my Top 10's and I was never fully satisfied by my picks until today! <br /><br /><br />If I have done an individual review or lip swatch&nbsp;on a particular lipstick there will be a link below. I plan on reviewing all of them&nbsp;with lip swatches in the future, so keep an eye out for those! Oh, and I was pretty bad at photographing lip swatches back in the day, so no judgments... you live and learn ;)<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-0hrpvkQfot4/UgJf3FWIh2I/AAAAAAAAB_I/z0RkmckdoTo/s1600/Top+MAC+Lipsticks+for+fair+light+skin.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="608" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-0hrpvkQfot4/UgJf3FWIh2I/AAAAAAAAB_I/z0RkmckdoTo/s640/Top+MAC+Lipsticks+for+fair+light+skin.JPG" width="640" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">(l-r) Hue, Shy Girl, Crème Cup, Fanfare, Viva Glam V</td></tr></tbody></table><br /><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;">&nbsp;</td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">&nbsp;</td></tr></tbody></table><a href="/2013/04/mac-hue-best-nude-lipstick.html" target="_blank"><strong>HUE</strong></a><strong> (Glaze)</strong> -- a sheer&nbsp;pinky nude&nbsp;that looks beautiful with a smokey eye. I think Hue works on just about anyone!<br /><br /><strong>SHY GIRL (Cremesheen)</strong> -- &nbsp;a mostly opaque peachy nude that has become a new favorite of my mine! I typically can't pull off lipsticks with much orange to them, but Shy Girl is the exception! Like Hue, this lipstick looks great on a variety of different skin tones.<br /><br /><a href="/2013/08/mac-angel-vs-creme-cup.html" target="_blank"><strong>CREME CUP</strong></a><strong>&nbsp;(Cremesheen)</strong> -- a semi opaque light slightly cool toned pink.&nbsp;Crème Cup looks great with a&nbsp; smokey, neutral, or natural look! Definitely a must have!<br /><br /><strong>FANFARE (Cremesheen)</strong> -- a semi opaque warm midtone pink. This was suggested to me by one of my readers, and I have loved it since the day we met! Fanfare looks beautiful on very fair to very tan&nbsp;yellow toned skin. My current #1 favorite!<br /><br /><strong>VIVA GLAM V (Lustre)</strong> -- a sheer dusty, pearly, pink with a slight brown undertone. This is the perfect MLBB lipstick that is a "throw it on and go" kind of color. It goes with anything and is appropriate for any situation. Cult status for a reason!<br /><br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">&nbsp;&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">&nbsp;</div><br /><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-nynHrvAObsg/UgJfKDbxqlI/AAAAAAAAB_E/UmV7OVP95O4/s1600/Best+MAC+Lipsticks+fair+light+skin.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="602" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-nynHrvAObsg/UgJfKDbxqlI/AAAAAAAAB_E/UmV7OVP95O4/s640/Best+MAC+Lipsticks+fair+light+skin.JPG" width="640" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">(l-r) Lovelorn, Chatterbox, Craving, Impassioned, Ruby Woo</td></tr></tbody></table><br /><br /><br /><br /><a href="/2013/04/mac-lovelorn-lipstick.html" target="_blank"><strong>LOVELORN</strong></a><strong> (Lustre)</strong> -- a&nbsp;semi sheer cool&nbsp;mid-tone pink. Lovelorn was one of my first MAC lipsticks so it will always have a place in my heart. I feel like this one is a very basic color that would suit ladies with cool complexions best. <br /><br /><a href="/2013/07/top-5-mac-lipsticks-summer-brights.html" target="_blank"><strong>CHATTERBOX</strong></a><strong> (Amplified)</strong> -- a fully opaque quintessential pink -- bright but not neon. If I want to be a little daring but I'm not in the mood to go for something way out there I always pick Chatterbox. It's perfect!<br /><br /><strong>CRAVING (Amplified)</strong> -- a fully opaque plummy pink. Crème&nbsp;Cup vs Angel!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><strong>COLOR:</strong> They are both light&nbsp;neutral pinks, but&nbsp;Crème Cup is&nbsp;slightly lighter and&nbsp;a smidgen more blue toned. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><strong>FINISH:</strong> Angel is a&nbsp;frost, although many bloggers dispute this fact. The more I wear Angel the more the frost becomes apparent. If you take a look in the swatch below you can see that it has a frosty sheen. Crème Cup is a Cremesheen and applies like butter. It is very smooth and creamy -- for lack of a better word!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><strong>WEAR:</strong> Cremesheens tend to have pretty short wear times. In reality it's quite a conflicting feeling... happy that you've actually used a product enough to hit pan, and sad because you have to buy a new one. However you feel about the subject, hope you enjoy my trash talk!<br /><br /><br /><strong><u>MAC Studio Fix Powder in NC25 and NC30 ($27)</u></strong>&nbsp;-- I'm pretty surprised that I haven't written a full review on Studio Fix Powder. This is&nbsp;a staple in my collection.&nbsp;MAC SFP is a full coverage powder foundation that I've been using for over ten years. On days when I don't want to wear liquid foundation I just throw this on with either a brush or the sponge that comes with it and I'm good to go. I use the NC colors because they have a lot of yellow in them which helps to counteract my facial redness. Keep in mind that their liquid foundation names don't match up with SFP... I wear NC15 in Studio Fix Fluid and NC30 in Studio Fix Powder. <strong>Repurchase? YES!</strong><br /><br /><br /><strong><u>Cargo Blu-Ray Powder in 01 ($36)</u></strong> -- I purchased this powder to go with the Cargo foundation. Avoid this product at all costs ladies! It's horrendous. When you dip your brush powder goes flying everywhere and it applies super cakey. I probably used this powder no more than 10-15 times and&nbsp;I hit pan... are you kidding me?! <strong>Repurchase? HELL NO!</strong><br /><br /><br /><strong><u>MAC Blanc Type Eyeshadow ($12)</u></strong> -- Another staple in my collection. Blanc Type is a creamy, super pigmented off white that I use for my brow highlight. I will say that I hit pan faster than usual with this eyeshadow because it is somewhat powdery, but I put up with it because I love the&nbsp;it.&nbsp;I think this works best on fair/light skin, because it can appear a bit chalky when I have a tan. <strong>Repurchase? YES!</strong><br /><br /><br /><strong><u>MAC Politely Pink Lipstick ($15)</u></strong>&nbsp;--&nbsp;Politely Pink is a Lustre finish lipstick. On the lips it looks like a pearly (borderline frosty) nude. I have had this lipstick for years and decided I wanted to use it up. I don't think that it looks nice worn alone, so I paired it up with Ample Pink Lipglass. I think this lipstick is decent, but MAC makes so many better ones. <strong>Repurchase? Probably not.</strong><br /><br /><br /><strong><u>MAC Cultured Lipglass ($15)</u></strong>&nbsp;-- If you are familiar with my blog, you've heard rave about this lipglass. Cultured is the perfect&nbsp;MLBB pink with a&nbsp;slight&nbsp;purple undertone.&nbsp;Click <a href="/2013/05/mac-cultured-lipglass-review-and-lip.html" target="_blank">HERE</a> for a full review and lip swatches. <strong>Repurchase? I just want to share some things I've learned along the way that&nbsp;may help others!<br /><br /><br />About my skin: I have combination oily skin that is acne prone and sensitive -- total pain in the ass. Typically I don't suffer from nodular acne, but I get what I call "baby bumps" all over my forehead, chin, and sometimes my cheeks. They are painless bumps that remain under the skin and rarely form a head. On occasion I will get a painful blemish but that&nbsp;is usually because of my lady time. I have to frequently exfoliate because I have fast cell turnover and oily skin. I have seen a drastic improvement in the condition of my skin from the skincare routine described below. <br /><br /><br /><strong>TIPS FOR CLEARER SKIN:</strong><br /><br /><strong>1. Do&nbsp;NOT under any circumstances touch your face during the day.</strong> This is pretty well known, but I think it is one of the most important points that I will make. <br /><br /><strong>2. Wash your bed sheets frequently.</strong> I wash mine at least once a week. Dead skin, oil from your hair and face, and other yucky stuff resides on your pillow case. Wash in warm water!<br /><br /><strong>3. Exfoliate gently and regularly.</strong>&nbsp;I&nbsp;use a wash cloth to exfoliate every night but you can use a scrub brush like a&nbsp;Clarisonic,&nbsp;homemade sugar scrubs, or ones that you purchase in stores. There are a million different scrubs on the market but they aren't created equal. I prefer the ones that have "micro beads" because they are round and won't scratch the face -- which only irritates it further. <br /><br /><strong>4. Drink plenty of water!</strong> <br /><br /><strong>5. Don't wear makeup at least two days a week.</strong> This may not be feasible for everyone, but do what you can. Your skin needs time to breathe and repair itself!<br /><br /><strong>6. Wash your makeup brushes frequently.</strong> I wash my foundation brush every other use. <br /><br /><strong>7. Keep your skincare routine simple and be consistent.</strong> I think sometimes we overload our skin with way too many products with crazy harsh ingredients. Try to simplify! Use one product that has&nbsp;an acne ingredient and keep the other products&nbsp;basic and gentle. Remember, it takes about a month for your skin to get accustomed to any changes in your routine so try to stick it out. <br /><br /><strong>8. Use a toner and moisturizer suited for your skin type.&nbsp;</strong>Everyone needs to use both, but&nbsp;I think one of the most difficult aspects of skincare is finding a moisturizer that works well with your skin type. <br /><br /><strong>9. Keep your cell phone clean.</strong>&nbsp; This goes along the same lines as not touching your face during the day. You touch your phone with your hands which then touches your face -- recipe for disaster.<br /><br /><strong>10. Use a CLEAN&nbsp;washcloth every night when washing your face.</strong> This may seem a bit&nbsp;old school but I'm telling you&nbsp;it works!! Apply soap or cleanser to face with wash cloth using circular motions. Be very gentle!<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><strong>MY SKINCARE ROUTINE</strong><br /><br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-K1oDqHJqF4o/UeL9pZjuVZI/AAAAAAAAB2E/D69WGlYSk9I/s1600/IMG_2490.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-K1oDqHJqF4o/UeL9pZjuVZI/AAAAAAAAB2E/D69WGlYSk9I/s320/IMG_2490.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>&nbsp;<strong>Dove Bar Soap ($2)</strong><br /><br />I've used Dove soap twice daily&nbsp;for years.&nbsp; It is the most gentle cleanser I have found. It doesn't dry out my skin and it gets the job done. Like I said earlier, I use a clean wash cloth every time.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-19JhFwMXP9U/UeL9p-Y7uLI/AAAAAAAAB2Y/xvHz5YseCo0/s1600/IMG_2491.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-19JhFwMXP9U/UeL9p-Y7uLI/AAAAAAAAB2Y/xvHz5YseCo0/s320/IMG_2491.JPG" width="281" /></a></div><strong><u>AM Routine</u></strong><br /><br /><strong>Mario Badescu Special Cucumber Lotion ($15)</strong><br /><strong></strong><br />This toner is for acne prone skin and sometimes I find it a little too harsh. If my skin feels like it's getting a bit dry I will skip this step.<br /><br /><br /><strong>Aveeno Clear Complexion Daily Moisturizer ($15)</strong><br /><br />Because it has Salicylic Acid in it, this moisturizer helps to prevent acne and keep my skin hydrated. <br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-l5Ixpv7eb_Q/UeMKCa9W-kI/AAAAAAAAB2o/wazwiTgB_fY/s1600/IMG_2492.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-l5Ixpv7eb_Q/UeMKCa9W-kI/AAAAAAAAB2o/wazwiTgB_fY/s320/IMG_2492.JPG" width="245" /></a></div><strong><u>PM Routine</u></strong><br /><strong><u></u></strong><br /><strong>Makeup Removing Wipes (not pictured)</strong><br /><strong><u></u></strong><br /><strong>Mario Badescu Special Cucumber Lotion</strong><br /><br /><strong>Murad Age-Balancing Night Cream ($75)</strong><br /><br />This is the best&nbsp;night cream I have ever found. It is marketed towards post menopausal woman, but I think it works great on any age group. It hydrates, plumps, and makes my skin feel amazing. I always look forward to this step!<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />So that's it for my tips and skincare routine! I hope you found it helpful! :)<br /><br /><br />Have you tried any of these products?&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Do you have any tips for clearer skin?<br /><br /><br /><br />Sarah<br /><br /><br /><br />Sarah Caronhttps://plus.google.com/113459519861985401593noreply@blogger.com40tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8470850440598347060.post-92034167839554093382013-07-11T09:09:00.000-07:002013-07-11T09:09:52.804-07:00My Lips But Better<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Tze8p7rwCJk/Ud7MoXkjn3I/AAAAAAAAB1k/9jGsadvbFug/s1600/My+lips+but+better.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="381" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Tze8p7rwCJk/Ud7MoXkjn3I/AAAAAAAAB1k/9jGsadvbFug/s400/My+lips+but+better.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br /><br /><br /><br />Only in the beauty community do people associate "MLBB" with lip products rather than baseball! If you are unfamiliar with the acronym MLBB, it simply means a product is very similar&nbsp;in&nbsp;color to that of your lips but slightly enhances them. They can have&nbsp;a hint more&nbsp;pink, brown, peach, purple, etc., but they are&nbsp;meant to be subtle. <br /><br /><br />For about&nbsp;eight years MLBB liners, glosses, and lipsticks were my obsession. Before&nbsp;I knew it, I had amassed an enormous collection that was eerily similar to one another. I hadn't even&nbsp;heard of the phrase "my lips but better" -- I just knew what I liked. After years of trying to use up my hoard, I feel as though I have become somewhat of an expert on the subject. A self proclaimed&nbsp;MLBB&nbsp;expert. As you might be able to guess by looking at the swatches below, my lips are naturally a pale pink color.<br /><br /><br /><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-I3nq0DSMRu0/Ud7Auj6vi_I/AAAAAAAAB0k/_HTwDVOlMWA/s1600/IMG_2478.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="497" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-I3nq0DSMRu0/Ud7Auj6vi_I/AAAAAAAAB0k/_HTwDVOlMWA/s640/IMG_2478.JPG" width="640" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">MAC Syrup, MAC Viva Glam V, MAC Peach Blossom, MAC Angel</td></tr></tbody></table><br /><strong>MAC Syrup (Lustre)</strong> --&nbsp; wonderful MLBB lipstick that would work on&nbsp;a wide range of skintones! This one has a slight purple undertone.<br /><br /><strong>MAC Viva Glam V (Lustre)</strong> -- a dusky rose with a&nbsp;minimal brown undertone and subtle shimmer. Very popular&nbsp;color for good reason!<br /><br /><strong>MAC Peach Blossom&nbsp;(Cremesheen + Pearl)</strong> --&nbsp;&nbsp;peachy pink with pearl. This is a great lipstick to start transitioning into peach lip products.<br /><br /><strong>MAC Angel (Frost)</strong> -- light neutral pink with very subtle frost. This probably isn't the best MLBB lipstick if you have very pigmented lips. <br /><br /><br /><br /><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-HnhbYdT6zeM/Ud7IEHige7I/AAAAAAAAB1M/SiN2WRlmyiI/s1600/IMG_2481.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="432" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-HnhbYdT6zeM/Ud7IEHige7I/AAAAAAAAB1M/SiN2WRlmyiI/s640/IMG_2481.JPG" width="640" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Rimmel East End Snob, MAC Ample Pink, MAC Cultured, Merle Norman Gumdrop, Givenchy Impertinent Nude, Smashbox Radiant</td></tr></tbody></table><br /><strong>Rimmel East End Snob Lip Liner</strong> -- This is very close to my lip color, just slightly darker. DUPE ALERT: MAC Soar Lip Pencil<br /><br /><strong>MAC Ample Pink Plushglass</strong> -- A very basic pink gloss that would work on just about anyone!<br /><br /><strong>MAC Cultured Lipglass</strong> -- My favorite gloss of all time! A purpley pink with lavender shimmer. <br /><br /><strong>Merle Norman Gumdrop</strong> -- A light slightly blue toned pink with shimmer. <br /><br /><strong>Givenchy Impertinent Nude</strong> -- A peachy pinky&nbsp;nude gloss. This one was a gift and definitely a luxury item, but it is&nbsp;absolutely stunning on the lips. <br /><br /><strong>Smashbox Radiant</strong> -- a soft berry with shimmer. <br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">&nbsp;</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">&nbsp;</div><br /><br /><br /><br />That's it for my favorite MLBB products... what are your favorites?<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Sarah Caronhttps://plus.google.com/113459519861985401593noreply@blogger.com29tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8470850440598347060.post-1822894757899680402013-07-09T07:12:00.002-07:002013-07-20T13:46:03.667-07:00MAC Prep + Prime Lip Review<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-s-gYLqONeXc/UdsiiW1U_HI/AAAAAAAABxo/hQ68LnvCytA/s1600/IMG_2472.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-s-gYLqONeXc/UdsiiW1U_HI/AAAAAAAABxo/hQ68LnvCytA/s400/IMG_2472.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-KrN5cmjrA1w/Udsi5AZ7HrI/AAAAAAAABx4/I36VxXYF4Dw/s1600/IMG_2476.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-KrN5cmjrA1w/Udsi5AZ7HrI/AAAAAAAABx4/I36VxXYF4Dw/s640/IMG_2476.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br /><br /><br />I like to think that I'm immune to the sales&nbsp;pressure of the MAC artists, but my ownership of Prep + Prime Lip proves the contrary.&nbsp;I was at the counter purchasing a couple lippies when the artist asked me about Prep + Prime Lip. She then looked at me aghast when I told her that I don't use a primer when I wear dark lipstick. Long story short... I bought it. <br /><br /><br /><strong><em>"A colour-free base to wear under lipstick. Adds light moisture, smoothes and refines the lips. Improves the appearance of applied lip products."</em></strong><br /><br /><br />When applied MAC Prep + Prime Lip feels very similar to a lip balm. I like to let it sit on the lips for about two minutes before I apply lipstick on top. Overall I am very pleased with the purchase and it does what it says it does! I really like how smooth the lipsticks apply and how moisturized my lips feel underneath. I think this product is great for someone that wears bright/dark lips frequently or suffers from dry lips. I don't think this primer extends the wear time, but it definitely makes wearing lipsticks much more comfortable.<br /><br /><br />I highly recommend this product and will definitely be repurchasing when I'm finished with this one! <br /><br /><br /><br />I feel like there are primers for just about&nbsp;everything these days... do&nbsp;you think they are necessary?<br /><br /><br />Do you use a lip primer?<br /><br /><br /><br />SarahSarah Caronhttps://plus.google.com/113459519861985401593noreply@blogger.com41tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8470850440598347060.post-56657265742865696302013-07-05T06:58:00.001-07:002013-07-20T13:51:12.889-07:00MAC Ruby Woo vs Russian RedToday I thought I would do a&nbsp;quick&nbsp;comparison of&nbsp;two of my favorite lipsticks... Ruby Woo vs Russian Red!<br /><br /><br /><strong>COLOR</strong>: Russian Red is definitely a cooler (more blue toned) slightly deeper red. Ruby Woo is slightly more neutral leaning and&nbsp;brighter in color.<br /><br /><strong>FINISH</strong>: Ruby Woo is a Retro Matte meaning it is&nbsp;extremely dry. I didn't know it was possible for a lipstick to be that dry! Russian Red is a Matte finish but it is much smoother to apply. If you look at the swatches below you can see the difference in the two finishes. Although Russian Red is Matte you can still see a slight sheen to is, but Ruby Woo is completely flat. <br /><br /><strong>APPLICATION</strong>: Because of its incredibly dry&nbsp;texture Ruby Woo is&nbsp;somewhat of a&nbsp;pain&nbsp;to apply and I find it difficult to use a brush with this lipstick.&nbsp;Typically I apply Ruby Woo&nbsp;directly from the bullet and then touch up with&nbsp;a lip liner.&nbsp;Russian Red can be easily applied from the bullet or by brush<br /><br /><strong>WEAR</strong>: They both wear extremely well, although I would say Russian Red is a bit more comfortable. <br /><br /><br /><br /><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-FwYrf9_3Bc0/UdbJKzrAE8I/AAAAAAAABws/3_hMQZwVKCE/s1600/IMG_2470.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="207" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-FwYrf9_3Bc0/UdbJKzrAE8I/AAAAAAAABws/3_hMQZwVKCE/s400/IMG_2470.JPG" width="400" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">top Russian Red; bottom Ruby Woo</td></tr></tbody></table>(I'm not that pale in person -- the camera washed me out)<br /><br /><br /><br />When it comes to red lipsticks, your skin tone will be the biggest factor in deciding which looks best on you. Russian Red will suit cool tone ladies best, while Ruby Woo will look great on a variety of skin tones because it is more neutral. I think Russian Red is more of an&nbsp;evening/night color because it is slightly deeper and a more vampy red. I prefer to pair both with Cherry Lip Pencil by MAC. You could also use Brick if you wanted a little contrast. No matter which lipstick you choose, it is necessary to wear a lip balm or primer underneath. I like MAC's Prep + Prime... it really keeps my lips feeling moisturized. I will be posting a review soon!<br /><br /><br />Even though Russian Red is easier to apply, I prefer Ruby Woo. The color of Ruby Woo is&nbsp;perfect on my complexion&nbsp;and it seriously lasts forever!<br /><br /><br /><br /><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-GQagLMVB0sw/UdbKEPdHigI/AAAAAAAABxU/mC63hVPkLUE/s1600/russian+red+vs+ruby+woo.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-GQagLMVB0sw/UdbKEPdHigI/AAAAAAAABxU/mC63hVPkLUE/s640/russian+red+vs+ruby+woo.JPG" width="540" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Russian Red, Ruby Woo</td></tr></tbody></table><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Hope you enjoyed!
